Separation is rarely easy, but at Taylor Fawcett our aim is to help you find the solution and the settlement that works best for you and your family. Whether you are in the need of general advice or require more in-depth assistance, we can help you understand your choices when making a separation legal or your rights in a divorce, sorting out the financial aspects of a relationship or agreeing residence and contact for the children. To begin taking back control, contact us to organise an initial meeting.
If you have a low income, you may be eligible for assistance from the Legal Services Commission (which used to be called the Legal Aid Board) to meet part or all of the cost of a case. This is known as Public Funding (Legal Aid). The Fee Earner you meet will go through the Financial Means and Merit test with you and determine eligibility during your first meeting. Otherwise, we will provide you with an estimate of the costs and maintain contact with you about the charges and disbursements involved.
